High Winds Bring Down Pine Tree In Hamilton
The pine tree was big enough to fall completely across Bridge Street onto wires.
HAMILTON, MA — High winds on Monday brought a large pine tree down in Hamilton along with wires, causing a power outage in the area.
The tree went down across Bridge Street — Police said the road is closed between School Street and Sagamore Street. National Grid crews are on standby and police said they will remove the tree as soon as possible.
A wind advisory is in place in Hamilton until 4 p.m. on Monday. Wind speeds reached 41 mph.
