Letter to the Editor: School Committee Candidate is 'Level-Headed, Articulate'

A letter to the editor from Hamilton-Wenham Regional School Committee member and former Wenham Selectman Larry Swartz is support of Deb Evans for the School Committee.

To the Editor:

Of all of the newcomers on the ballot for School Committee, I am most familiar with Deb Evans. I served with Deb on the Wenham Finance Committee some years ago and found her to be level headed, articulate and not afraid to ask questions or make difficult decisions.

Last year, we were on the Towns/Schools Budget Process Committee together. She was the Community Representative from Wenham while I served as the School Committee Representative.  I witnessed these same qualities help lay the framework for the enhanced cooperation and collaboration that we now have among the towns and schools.

The School Committee needs what Deb would bring: an open mind and a commitment to superior schools at a reasonable cost.

Please vote for Deb Evans for School Committee this Thursday.
