New Spa Opens In Hamilton This Month

HAMILTON, MA – Hamilton has a new business, starting this month. Feather's Med Spa recently opened at 161 Bay Road, and has begun offering facials, injectables, and peels.

Stephanie Barbeau of Beverly, a Nurse Practitioner who also works alongside a dermatologist, opened the spa out of an interest in skin preservation.

"I decided I would venture out and open up a med spa in the community for those who are interested in preserving their skin as well," said Barbeau. She named the spa Feather's as a tribute to her late son: After he passed away five years ago, she began seeing feathers everywhere. Some of those feathers have been preserved and framed in the spa.

Feather's Med Spa offers injectables like Botox and things to help fill deep wrinkles or fine lines around the face, or lip injectables. The business also offers chemical peels, microneedling, hydro facials, regular facials, waxing, eyelash tinting, and various laser treatments. They also carry Jane Iredale makeup, a Massachusetts-based line.

Barbeau welcomes people to come in for a free consultation, and ask questions about the different procedures the spa offers. She's already met some residents at the spa's open house last week.
