Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Essex County
Essex County is under a severe thunderstorm warning until 3:15 p.m., per the National Weather Service.
ESSEX COUNTY, MA – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Central Essex County until 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
According to the NWS, a severe thunderstorm was located either over Hamilton or near Beverly around 2:30 p.m., moving northeast on the radar. The warning noted to expect damage to trees and power lines, and noted that Hamilton, Ipswich, Topsfield, and Essex would be impacted.
Flash flooding may occur.
