Town Of Hamilton Master Plan

At the November 14, 2020 Special Town Meeting, voters approved an article dedicating funds to produce a new Master Plan and we are excited to announce that we are in the process of selecting a consultant to lead the planning effort.

Although there have been multiple smaller plans produced, including the Housing Production Plan and the Open Space and Recreation Plan, the most recent complete Hamilton Master Plan was finalized in December 2004.This planning effort is envisioned as an opportunity to engage the community in an open, public process to help define Hamilton’s future and vision while taking existing information, demographic trends, and community needs and constraints into consideration. The result will be a Master Plan that is informative, dynamic, and actionable to guide and inform the Town over the next two decades.

The plan will rely heavily on public participation and we will be working hard to get as many residents involved in the process as possible. We will provide updates when a consultant is selected, community planning events are scheduled and any other major project milestones are on the horizon.
