Town Of Hamilton Spring 2021 Water Distribution System Flushing

The Hamilton Water Department will begin flushing hydrants on Monday April 5th @ 8:30 P.M. Flushing will occur from 8:30 p.m. until 1:00 a.m. on the following schedule:

Week 1 April 5th – April 8th
Week 2 April 12th – April 15th
Week 3 April 20th – April 22nd
Week 4 April 26th – April 29th

Due to potentially reversing the general flow pattern in the distribution system, customers outside our specific area of work could also become affected with discoloration. To minimize discolored water, please refrain from utilizing water during our flushing process. (Showers, laundry, flushing of toilets etc).

Should discoloration occur, we suggest residents run their cold water or turn on your outside spigots until the lines run clear.
