Vigil For Orlando Victims Planned for Wednesday Night

WENHAM – A vigil for the victims of the Orlando terrorist attack on a gay night club has been scheduled for tonight at 6pm in the First Church sanctuary. 

The First Church issued the following statement on Facebook Wednesday morning:

"We are all feeling shock, grief and a host of other emotions as we learn the details of the attack in Orlando. At times like these we can also feel helpless and fearful. It is important to respond to terror and hate on a spiritual level and collectively refuse to let acts like these make us less than we are as God's people... Please come as you are with whatever feelings you have."
