Wenham Issues Outdoor Watering Ban

Hand watering is still allowed from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m.

WENHAM, MA – The Town of Wenham issued a mandatory water ban on Aug. 10, due to low flows in the Ipswich River, according to a post on the town website.

Nonessential outdoor watering is not allowed, including irrigation, car washing, and home washing. The ban extends to water from private wells. Hand watering is allowed from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. daily.
