Wenham Town Clerk Position To Be On Election Ballot

After Town Clerk Dianne Bucco resigned last month, the position will be on the ballot for the town election in May.

WENHAM, MA — The position of Town Clerk is being added to the ballot for Wenham's Town Election in May.

Town Clerk Dianne Bucco resigned from the position last month to pursue a town clerk position in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Since she left, Administrative Assistant Terry Von Staats has been providing service in the town clerk's office. Retired Town Clerk Wilma M. McDonald will be the Assistant Town Clerk through the Annual Town Election on May 6.

McDonald was Town Clerk in Salisbury for over 20 years and served as Interim Town Clerk in Wenham in 2014. McDonald now also serves as a member of the Select Board in Salisbury.

She will be in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Terry von Staats will continue covering the office on Monday and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
