Winter Parking Details For Hamilton And Wenham

HAMILTON-WENHAM, MA – Hamilton residents should make plans not to park on the street when the forecast calls for snow.

In Wenham, there is no street parking for more than an hour from midnight to 6 a.m., Nov. 15 to March 31, regardless of snow predictions.

The Hamilton Board of Selectmen voted in 2011 to allow the Police Chief and the Director of Public Works to declare a winter storm parking ban on all public streets. As a general rule, a ban is declared when four or more inches of snow are predicted.

Cars violating a Hamilton winter parking ban may be ticketed and towed. The town website will post when there's a ban.
