Can a Disney Princess be Too Sexy?
Changes in the appearance of the animated starlet in Brave have created some backlash toward Disney.
Less than a year after the release of Disney's Brave, the show's leading lady Merida has been invited to join the rank of Disney princesses.
According to Boston.com, however, the move doesn't come without changes to the character that left some upset.
"Disney has unleashed a nation of protective mama bears, and they're furious about the makeovers Disney Princesses get once they become consumer products: exaggerated doe eyes, kissable lips, rising cheekbones and off-the-shoulder dresses," Boston.com reports.
