Driver Charged With Second Drunk Driving Offense, Unlicensed Operation

Wednesday, May 29
12:18 a.m.: An officer removed a dead deer from Clinton Street.
2:23 p.m.: An officer investigated a larceny on West Main Street.

3:30 p.m.: An officer from the Hopkinton Police Department reported a large sinkhole on West Main Street. The Highway Department was notified and an officer placed a cone on the hazard to notify drivers.
3:41 p.m.: A caller reported that he was almost struck by a speeding vehicle in a parking lot on Main Street. The caller did not want to pursue a report, just notify police to the problem.

4:10 p.m.: An officer assisted the Highway Department while they repaired the sinkhole on West Main Street.
5:43 p.m.: A resident of Mayhew Street reported that her beagle was missing.
6:31 p.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on West Main Street. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Rildo C. Deoliveira, 43, of 20 Auburn Dr., Apt. 9C, Marlborough. Deoliveira was charged with second offense drunken-driving, marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation.
7:37 p.m.: A caller from Downey Street reported that the primary power line was on fire. The Hopkinton Fire Department with NStar and a detail officer.
