Ellen Scordino Wins School Committee Seat
Scordino thanked her supporters after winning in yesterday's Hopkinton town election.
After numerous letters of support for Ellen Scordino and Amy Ritterbusch, the voters elected Scordino almost 2-1.
With a final tally of 874 to 472 Scordino was thankful to her supports and said she looks forward to working with Superintendent Cathy Macleod when she begins in July.
"I want to make sure she knows the School Committee, me included, is invested in her succeeding this year," Scordino said.

A top priorty for Scordino also belongs to reworking the master plan for the schools, which was written in 2009.
Scordino will be sworn in by Town Clerk Ann Click this week so she can participate in Thursday's School Committee meeting.
