Man, 23, Dies After Being Trapped In Car Under Water At I-495

Police said the 23-year-old man was pronounced dead at Milford Hospital.

HOPKINTON, MA — The 23-year-old Medway man died after his car rolled over and was submerged in water on I-495 Monday morning. Police identified the victim as Ethan Huckins.

State police said around 5:30 a.m. they responded to I-495 North prior to Exit 21 for a rollover and entrapment. Huckins was extricated and brought to Milford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Huckins lost control of his Honda Civic, resulting in it resting upside down in water.

All lanes were reopened around 8:45 a.m., but there were still significant delays.
