Father-Son Duo to be Arraigned After Antiques Show Theft

The pair allegedly stole a vehicle and many antiques in February.

For nearly three months detectives from the Holliston Police Department have been trying to track down whoever stole a van and the antiques inside it from Holliston High School.

The robbers reportedly planned their robbery during an antiques show on Feb. 24; they stole a van and many antiques that were being stored in it during the show.

"The van was then driven a short distance where many of the antiques were transferred to a rental car," A release from the Police Chief John Moore said. "The majority of the antiques were discarded on the side of the road in Holliston."

On Feb. 28, a Barnstable detective called Holliston's Detective Chuck Todd to report that during a narcotics investigation the detective had developed information that implicated the suspect and his father in the antiques larceny.

Police are seeking a summons to charge the father and son from Cape Cod, whose names have not yet been release, with larceny of a motor vehicle and larceny over $250. They will be arraigned in the Framingham District Court in the near future.
