On Sunday night the Hopkinton Police Department responded to the Hopkinton Square plaza after a caller reported that a gorilla suit-wearing, knife-wielding person had attacked them.

"Upon arrival officers spoke with the victim who reported he was assaulted by a subject in a gorilla suit armed with a knife," a press release from Lieutenant Charles Wallace said.
