Holliston Karate Students Rake In Tournament Awards
Ten students from Cormier's Self Defense Academy placed at the World Martial Arts Federation Fall Challenge Tournament at St. John's Prep.
HOLLISTON, MA – Ten karate students from Cormier's Self Defense Academy in Holliston recently placed at the World Martial Arts Federation Fall Challenge at St. John's Prep. The students were among hundreds of participants at the tournament from martial arts schools across New England.
Students from Cormier's demonstrated their skills in Forms, Sparring and Weapons, earning multiple honors. The tournament was open to martial arts students of all ages, styles and abilities.

"Our karate students worked very hard and had a fantastic day! I am incredibly proud of how they represented our dojo with respect and good sportsmanship. Their camaraderie and enthusiastic support for each other was wonderful to see," said Jim Cormier, owner and Master Instructor at Cormier's Self Defense Academy and World Martial Arts Hall of Fame member. "I would like to especially thank the families who came out to support our team and the tournament; I sincerely appreciate it."
