Holliston Police: Thieves Break Into Several Unlocked Cars

The following information was provided by the Holliston Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 24

7:43 a.m.: The Animal Control Officer was notified of a loose dog on Washington Street in the downtown area.

10:26 p.m.: Several youths were removed from Goodwill Park.

Thursday, July 25

6:35 a.m.: A caller from Andrew Lane reported that their unlocked vehicle had been rummaged through overnight. Nothing was reported missing.

8:36 a.m.: A caller from the Cole Court reported that a GPS had been stolen from their vehicle overnight. Several other vehicles were reported as having been broken into. All of the vehicles involved had been left unlocked.

12:11 p.m.: A caller from Beatrice Lane reported that their vehicle had been broken into overnight and their iPod was stolen. The vehicle was not locked.

3:00 p.m.: Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Washington Street. Two vehicles were towed and one person was hospitalized.

3:53 p.m.: A caller from Morton Street reported that a GPS had been stolen from their unlocked vehicle overnight.
