Holliston Town Hall Moves To Appointment-Only After Virus Surge

HOLLISTON, MA — Holliston's town hall is switching back to only seeing residents by appointment.
The surge in COVID-19 cases in Holliston and the state spurred the change. Holliston had 31 more coronavirus cases over the last two weeks, bringing it to over 190 confirmed cases, according to town-by-town data released by the state.
The town was placed in the moderate-risk category, averaging 16.1 daily cases per 100,000 residents.

The Town Hall closed its doors in March before reopening the lower level to the public in early July, and reopening the first floor by appointment only in late July. Those wanting to make an appointment should contact town employees via the town's website which lists both department phone numbers and emails.
"All departments are operational and will continue to conduct town business; residents are be encouraged to do business remotely when possible, and only set up appointments if they must come to Town Hall in person," the town said in a statement.
