HOLLISTON, MA — The Holliston Select Board wants to hear residents opinions about the town's decision to temporarily change Front Street to a one-way street.

The pilot project was designed to promote a safer and more accessible connection for bicyclists and pedestrians between the Upper Charles Rail Trail and the town center. The pilot project temporarily converted Front Street, from Vine to Winthrop, to one-way in the southbound direction from Central to Vine and created a pedestrian access zone along Front Street to the intersection at Winthrop Street.

To gauge how the change affected commuters and residents in the area, the town released a survey about the project and will discuss the results at the Jan. 19 Select Board meeting. Residents can take the survey online.
