Hopkinton Coronavirus: Cases Rise To 16
Half of all confirmed cases in Hopkinton have recovered.
HOPKINTON, MA — Hopkinton reported 16 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in town, as of Wednesday. Half of all confirmed cases in Hopkinton have recovered, according to the town. There have been no deaths in town.
The town is preparing for an uptick in cases in the coming weeks. "We are close to the beginning of the anticipated 'surge' in the Commonwealth. During this time, local case numbers may not accurately reflect the infections in our community," the town said in a notice to the community.
To slow and stop the spread of the virus, the town reminds residents to practice social distancing and review the CDC's guidance on wearing masks.

Gov. Charlie Baker said Wednesday the state "is still on the upward slope of this pandemic." Across the state, there has been a total of 433 deaths and 16,790 cases.
