Hopkinton PD Awarded $3,000 For K9 Unit

The money was awarded by Hometown Foundation after Hopkinton K9 officer Titan came in the top 3 of the foundation's latest competition.

HOPKINTON, MA — The Hopkinton Police Department is celebrating after K9 Titan was awarded $3,000 from a non-profit after he was voted top three a recent competition through the organization.

The department announced the news on Wednesday — Hometown Foundation awarded the K9 unit $3,000. Hometown Foundation is a non-profit "dedicated to helping those in need" and focuses on five areas of need, one of which being emergency response personnel.

The money will be used to pay for Titan's food, vet visits and equipment, among other things.
