Hopkinton Police: Vandals Attempt to Blow Up Mailbox on Cunningham Street

Friday, Aug. 9

7:56 a.m.: A caller reported a work crew on Front Street taking up a lane of travel.

4:39 p.m.: A driver was stopped in East Main Street after a hit and run in Ashland. Sharon Wall, 42, of 432 Water St., Framingham was arrested and charged with drunken-driving.

6:38 p.m.: An officer arrested Christopher P. Morin, 35, of 46 Granite St., Uxbridge on a warrant charge.

Saturday, Aug. 10

2:33 p.m.: A resident reported that while she was jogging on Elm, Street a dog jumped up on her.

10:27 p.m.: A caller reported a car off the road on Hayden Rowe Street at Sunnyside Gardens. The operator was transported to Milford Medical Center and later died.

Sunday, Aug. 11

9:02 a.m.: A caller from Cunningham Street reported that someone tried to blow up her mailbox. A firecracker was found nearby.

Monday, Aug. 12

8:20 a.m.: A caller from Front Street reported three rings missing from her house. She believed they may have been stolen while she was doing yard work.

Tuesday, Aug. 13

6:41 a.m.: A car crashed into a utility pole on West Main Street.

7:08 p.m.: A caller fro Daniel Shays Road reported a solicitor in the area. The solicitors were from a non-profit and claimed they talked to the chief.
