JP & Friends To Headline Hopkinton Summer Kick Off Concert
The band, led by British guitarist Jeff Purchon, is comprised of nine MetroWest Boston musicians covering rock, soul, blues, funk and pop.
HOPKINTON, MA – Area nonet JP & Friends will headline this year's Hopkinton Center for the Arts Summer Kick Off Concert next Friday, June 23. The free concert will be held at the HCA's outdoor performance space in Hopkinton.
JP & Friends is comprised of nine professional musicians in the MetroWest Boston area covering rock, soul, blues, funk and pop. The band is led by British guitarist Jeff Purchon, who has played with Robert Palmer, Noel Redding, Ginger Baker, Vernon Reid, Buddy Miles and several other musical greats.
For the fourth year, the Barbara Corbett Dobson and Dave Dobson Memorial Fund will sponsor the concert. The fund was created by the Corbett family in memory of their mother, Barbara, and her husband, Dave, who loved music and spending time with family.

The concert will take place from 7-9 p.m. at 98 Hayden Rowe Street.
