MA Power Outages: Holliston With 500+ In The Dark
Winds and rain are causing a bit of havoc in Holliston, knocking out power for several hundred.

HOLLISTON, MA—A few thousand were without power by 2 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, the nor'easter's winds and rain knocking it out in several pockets of towns and cities, particularly southeast Massachusetts and along the coast.
Of the 6,327 Eversource customers in Holliston, 512 were without power Saturday afternoon, representing eight percent of the customers. Eversource does not list restore times.
Barnstable County has a flash flood watch until 6 p.m., a high wind warning until 6 p.m., and a coastal flood advisory on Saturday, per the National Weather Service. Winds in these areas could hit 50 mph from midday through the evening.

Strong winds, said NWS, may blow down limbs, trees and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected (check your local Patch for updates on any outages).
