Man's Body Found at Hopkinton Trash Recycling Facility

Police say it appears the man's body was brought to the facility from an outside community.

HOPKINTON, MA - A body has been found at a trash recycling facility in Hopkinton Thursday.

Hopkinton Police announced Thursday afternoon they are investigating the discovery of a human body at a local trash recycling facility.

Police say they received a call at 8:40 a.m. Thursday morning from E.L. Harvey and Sons reporting that workers had found a man's body inside the items brought to the Municipal Recycling Center, Building 6.

This building is located in the area of 395 Wood St. Hopkinton.

Police say all workers at the facility have been accounted for and this is not a workplace incident.

Hopkinton Police Detectives along with detectives assigned to the Massachusetts State Police are on scene conducting the investigation.

The man is described as a 40-year-old Caucasian male and police say it appears the man's body was brought to the facility from an outside community's garbage truck. WHDH Channel 7 News reports that workers discovered the body when they spread out the garbage on the conveyor belt.
