Max Makes Tracks

Holliston Police Department's newest K9, Max, has arrived!

The Holliston Police Department's newest K9, Max, is a handsome, all-black German Shepherd from the Czech Republic. Max and his partner, Officer Hagan, met with Holliston K9 Unit supporters recently to strut his stuff and receive a donation to get him off on the right paw. On October 4th, Lisa Zais, the President of the Friends of Holliston Police K9, and Henry Tate, a Holliston High School junior, met with Max, Officer Hagan, and Chief of Police Matt Stone outside the Holliston Police Department. Max has already begun his training, but Lisa and Henry were able to get a good look at our new hometown hero first! Henry presented a check for $200.00 for the Friends of the Holliston Police K9, which he raised collecting donations for snacks and gift table tickets at the annual BayPath Dog Bath that he and his family have run for the past 10 summers. If you would like to support Max, donations can be made out to the Friends of the Holliston Police K9 and mailed to the Holliston Police Department.
