HOPKINTON, MA — It's a calm, cool Tuesday in the region — but the weather may not stay that way for long. The National Weather Service is predicting possible strong thunderstorms and high winds to Massachusetts on Wednesday, mainly affecting areas north of the Mass Pike.
Speaking of local highways, a vehicle in a military convoy was involved in a three-vehicle crash along I-495 in Hopkinton on Tuesday. The crash caused long backups, but there were only minor injuries involved, according to state police. The crash was cleared by around 11 a.m.
