These residents of Milford, Hopkinton and Holliston died in recent days.
R. Wayne Miller, 85, of Franklin, MA. and formerly of Milford, MA. died Wednesday morning (June 26, 2013) at his residence after a short illness. He was the husband of Lois E. (Meyer) Jeffers Miller. He was born in Foxboro, MA., the son of the late William J. and the late Amy (Urie) Miller and resided in Milford Mr. Miller attended the Milford public schools and Milford High School as a young boy. He was first employed at the Kartiganer Hat Factory in Upton, MA. and later became a self-employed carpenter and handyman. He was a life-long member of the Dramatic Club in Milford and served in the US Navy from 1955 to 1957. He enjoyed doing cross word puzzles,and watching and feeding birds.
Robert L. Kearnan, 38, of Providence RI, formerly of Milford, died June 25, 2013, in his home. He born in Milford and was the beloved son of Lawrence and his wife Susan (Griem) Kearnan of Westborough and Carol and her husband Robert Dailey of Milford. He was raised in Milford, and was a graduate of the Milford High School class of 1993. He was presently employed as the Vice President of the Consumer Finance Loan Department at the Citizens Bank in Warwick RI. Previously he was Senior Unit Manager at First Data/PFPC and a personal trainer at the former Body Shop in Milford. He loved martial arts, movies and his dogs Van Damme and Anna.
Mr. Raymond J. Covino, 84, of Mashpee MA and formerly of Milford MA died Tuesday (June 25, 2013) at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis MA after a period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Whitney) Covino and the late Helen (Federico) Covino, who died in 1981. Mr. Covino was first employed as a young man at the Capuzziello family gas station located on Main Street in Milford. He then owned and operated a gas station located in Bellingham MA for about eight years. He later owned and operated “Ray’s Gulf” gas station and repair shop on Main Street in Milford for about sixteen years. Following that he had been employed even up until his death as a salesman for Southwestern Oil Company.

David Vincent Cardito, 38, of Hopkinton, passed away unexpectedly whileplaying Hockey, on Monday, June 24, 2013. Raised in Canton, MA, he was theson of Anna M. and Joseph M. Cardito currently of East Orleans. He was the husband of nearly four years to Melissa J. (Cacace) Cardito of Hopkinton.David loved playing hockey, riding motocross and spending time with his family. He was a Sales Manager for Pega Systems in Cambridge. He attended Noble & Greenough School in Dedham and received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Richard Henry Hedberg, 56, of Victor, Idaho and formerly of Holliston and Western MA, died of natural causes, on June 20, 2013. A 1975 graduate of Holliston High School, Richard attended Umass Amherst and graduated with honors from Holyoke Community College. He spent many years in the Western, MA area. He had lived his last 14 years in the Teton Valley area of Idaho and Wyoming. Richard worked as a mechanic and carpenter and spent his free time in the great outdoors; where he found peace.

Raymond E. Bergeron, 62, of Milford, died June 19, 2013, at the Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Elaine M. (Lamento) Bergeron for 34 years. Born in Milford, he was the son of the late William and Florence (Couteau) Bergeron. He was raised in Linwood, and had formerly worked at Shadowbrook Apartments in Milford in maintenance. He had also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Miss Helen Anne Moynihan, 86, of Brattleboro, VT and formerly of Milford, MA. died Sunday evening (June 16, 2013) at the Thompson House in Brattleboro, VT after a period of declining health. She was born on July 30, 1926 in St. Louis, MO., the daughter of the late Walter Richard and the late Helene Irene (Clancey) Moynihan. She was raised in Milford, MA. and attended the former St. Mary’s schools before graduating from Regis College in 1947. She worked in the Chancery office of the Diocese of Worcester, MA. and taught at Hopkinton High School before moving to Brattleboro, VT. In 1969 to begin her career as a Child Welfare Social Worker for the State of Vermont. She also earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Connecticut in Social Work.
Patricia E. (Bryden) Hinton, 75, of Milford passed away surrounded by her family Fri. June 14, 2013 She was born in Framingham on April 21, 1938, the daughter of the late Donald Bryden and the late Margaret M. (Niles) Grover.Patricia was a life long resident of Milford, and she was employed at the former Pago Pago Restaurant for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed reading, painting and crafts.Mrs. Hinton was a veteran in the U.S. Army, where she served her country proudly.
