Officers Check for Marijuana Smoking Youths, Erratic Drivers

Wednesday, July 17

12:41 a.m.: A caller reported an erratic driver on West Main Street. An officer located the vehicle and spoke to the driver who was tired, not impaired.

9:01 a.m.: The fire department and an officer responded to a water line break on Saddle Hill Road.

3:28 p.m.: A caller reported several youths smoking marijuana on Cedar Street. The youths were gone when an officer arrived.

3:37 p.m.: The Upton Police Department reported an erratic vehicle on Wood Street. A Hopkinton police officer stopped the vehicle and issued the driver a verbal warning for speed.

Thursday, July 18

6:38 a.m.: A caller reported construction equipment being used on Memory Lane. An officer spoke with the foreman who was unaware of the bylaw.

6:13 p.m.: A caller from South Street reported a larceny.
