Possible Burglary Stopped on East Street, Suspicious Man on Jackson Street

Tuesday, May 7
11:07 a.m.: A caller from East Street reported two suspicious males in the area wearing dark clothes and carrying backpacks. The caller said one male went to her door and asked if she needed landscaping done while the other went behind the house. The suspects left the area and police were unable to locate them.
2:50 p.m.: One person was hospitalized after a motorcycle crash on South Street.

4:57 p.m.: A caller reported several youths in a vehicle drinking beer and yelling obscenities on West Main Street. Police issued a criminal application to one of the passengers for illegal possession of prescription drugs.
5:19 p.m.: A 911 caller from Jackson Street reported that her young daughter and a friend saw a man wearing a ski mask running through the yard. Police checked the area but did not find anything that had been disturbed.

7:26 p.m.: A caller reported a skunk that was acting strange in front of her house on Downey Street.
Wednesday, May 8
7:55 a.m.: One person was hospitalized and two cars were towed after a crash on Fruit Street.
