Television, Jewelry Stolen in Two Hopkinton Break-Ins

Tuesday, June 25

7:11 a.m.: A Winter Street resident reported that his house was broken into and his television was stolen. An officer responded to the house to investigate.

8:02 a.m.: EMC security called to report a crash on South Street. Two vehicles were towed but no injuries were reported.

5:05 p.m.: Officers were advised to look for a female on South Street that had reportedly been involved in an assault in Milford.

5:40 p.m.: A caller reported that while she was outside on Greenwood Road a beaver ran toward her and the crawled inside the engine compartment of her car. An officer was called to help remove the beaver but when the officer arrived the beaver was gone.

10:38 p.m.: A caller from School Street reported that someone rang his doorbell and when he looked outside no one was there. An officer checked the area.

Wednesday, June 26

12:33 p.m.: A caller from Pinecrest Village reported that he had been followed all day by a motor vehicle and that the vehicle was now on his property. Officers responded but were unable to locate the vehicle.

3:27 p.m.: An officer investigated a break-in and larceny of jewelry from a residence on Spring Street.
