The Bird in Hand to Close in Several Months

The Bird in Hand has been open in the former Holliston Savings Bank location for seven years.

After seven years of operation in downtown Holliston, The Bird in Hand will be closing in "the next few months."

"In the coming weeks we will be selling all our inventory as well as displays, fixtures, furniture and lamps, so if you had your eye on something, now's the time," Margit Price, co-owner of the shop, said.

According to a release from the shop gift certificates will no longer be sold to the business and returns will not be sold anymore.

"We would like to pay homage to our staff who have been a big support, and to you, our loyal customer- we would not have this experience without you, and we will certainly miss all of you," Price said.

Price said she will be moving out of the area soon and her business partner, Meredith Nunes, chose not to continue the business on her own.
