Traffic Alert: Dump Truck Rollover On I-495 North In Hopkinton

HOPKINTON, MA — A dump truck rolled over while driving down I-495 North on Tuesday, just before the rush hour commute. Officials said there were minor injuries — the crash involved the dump truck and a sedan that was spotted in the brush on the opposite side of I-495.

Hopkinton fire officials said the crash happened just south of the Mass Pike at the 56.4 mile marker. They warned drivers headed toward the area to move over and slow down in the rainy conditions.

The left lane of traffic was closed and drivers should expect heavy delays until the site is cleared.

No word on the cause of the crash.
