West Nile Virus Found in Holliston Mosquito
West Nile Virus led to the canceling of some evening activities across the region last year.
During testing samples taken on Aug. 1 at least one mosquito carrying the West Nile virus was found in town.
Holliston is the only town in the area with West Nile Virus showing up so far, although most surrounding towns had positive tests for the virus last year.
In Holliston more than 6,000 samples were tested last year; 307 came back positive.

The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project is reportedly already planning more mosquito spraying around town.
