Boston City Council At-Large Candidate Essaibi-George Gains Valuable Endorsements
City Council At-Large candidate Annissa Essaibi-George's campaign was bolstered by the endorsements of three Democratic Ward Committees.

Boston City Council At-Large candidate Annissa Essaibi-George’s campaign was bolstered by the endorsements of the Ward 5, Ward 10, and Ward 15 Democratic Committees. The Committees represent Democrats in the Back Bay, Bay Village, Beacon Hill, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Mission Hill, and the South End. This past Saturday, Essaibi-George represented Ward 7 as a delegate to the Democratic State Convention in Springfield.
“I am excited to have earned the support of these three influential Democratic Ward Committees. For the past year, I have been campaigning across all neighborhoods and speaking with voters about my progressive vision for Boston’s future. Our city must do more to ensure that all students have access to high quality schools, safe streets, and real economic opportunity,” Essaibi-George said.
In 2013, Essaibi-George finished in 5th place in a crowded field of 19 candidates – only one spot away from winning a seat on the Council. This year, she is the only challenger running for City Council At-Large.
