Boston Ranked No. 7 Best City for Trick-or-Treating

Boston has been ranked among the top 10 cities in the United States to go trick-or-treating, according to Zillow’s Trick-or-Treat Index.

Whether your a youngster looking to collect lots of tasty goodies or a parent accompanying your child on Halloween, it should be noted that Boston provides plenty of candy and is considered one of the safest cities for trick-or-treaters.

Boston ranks No. 7 on Zillow’s list, which ranks cities where kids can get the most candy, with the fewest walking and safety risks.

Zillow used four equally weighted data variables to compute the list: median home value, housing density, crime rates and population age.

Charlestown, West Roxbury, Beacon Hill, Back Bay and the North End were identified as the top 5 neighborhoods for trick-or-treaters in Boston.

San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Phoenix and Chicago were the only cities to check in ahead of Boston.
