Brassica Kitchen + Cafe Opens in Jamaica Plain

The brainchild of Whisk pop-up co-owners and chefs Jeremy Kean and Phil Kruta held its inaugural dinner Wednesday night.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA - The team behind a number of local pop-ups has a new home, and it's open for business.

Brassica Kitchen + Cafe, which emerged out of Whisk pop-up, served its first dishes Wednesday night at its Forest Hills location.

In a Facebook post announcing the grand opening, the Brassica team thanked their patrons and attributed their decision to remain in Jamaica Plain to the support they received throughout the years.

Whisk co-owners and chefs Jeremy Kean and Phil Kruta are behind the new restaurant, which serves coffee, sandwiches and pastries during the day and at night switches to French-American fare.

Brassica Kitchen + Cafe is located at 3710 Washington St. in Jamaica Plain.
