Brighton Man Arrested, Accused Of Assault At Green Street MBTA
Police accused the man of punching a man and knocking him 5-feet down onto the tracks.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — Police arrested a man they said assaulted and then knocked another man 5 feet onto the tracks at the Green Street MBTA station, this week.
Around 7 a.m., Wednesday someone reported an assault at the Green Street station. When transit police arrived, a 31-year-old man told them that before he went into the station, he noticed another man, later identified as David Joress, 30, of Brighton, put on a face mask, and sternly glare at him.
Police said the two exchanged words relative to the alleged glare. And then the 31 year old went to wait for his train on the inbound platform. Police said Joress followed him and then punched him in the side of head knocking him out and about 5 feet onto the tracks.

EMS transported the man to a hospital for evaluation and police arrested Joress.
