Expansion Approved For Jamaica Plain's Goddard House
The Boston Redevelopment Authority gave the project the green light at Thursday's board of directors meeting.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA - The proposed $62 million dollar renovation and expansion of the Goddard House will move forward.
At a meeting Thursday the Boston Redevelopment Authority approved the project along with six other proposals, worth a cumulative $259 million.
Plans for the 163,000-square foot development include renovating the Goddard House to accommodate 110 residential units and constructing a new building with 57 units.

Of the total 167 residential units, 22 will be designated affordable.
The complex will also contain 180 spaces allotted for indoor and outdoor bicycle parking, 83 parking spaces, both covered and surface, and environmental improvements to the facade of the buildings.
