Fatal Shooting In Roxbury: 1 Dead, 2 Injured

The three victims were shot at a home along Westminister Avenue in Roxbury early Saturday morning, according to Boston police.

ROXBURY, MA — Three people were shot early Saturday morning in Roxbury, and one of the victims died at a local hospital, according to Boston police.

Just before 4 a.m. officers in Jamaica Plain were called to 81 Westminster Ave., just east of Egleston Square, on a report of a shooting. They found two men at the scene with gunshot wounds. One died at the hospital, the other man had non-life threatening wounds.

Police then responded to Ruthven Street and Walnut Avenue, where a woman was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. That's about one block south of where the first two victims were found, and police believe she was at the scene of the initial shooting.

No arrests were made. Boston police detectives are looking for tips, which you can send by calling 1-800-494-TIPS or texting the word "Tip" to CRIME (27463).
