Take a "spooky" walk through the wooded area.

Can’t wait until Halloween to get a good scare? You don’t have to.

A Halloween-themed “Night Hike” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 starting at 7 p.m. in Franklin Park, according to the Franklin Park Coalition, which is hosting the event.

No flashlights will be allowed during the event, as attendees will be led through the wooded area to explore old stone ruins and hike under the moonlight. Costumes and strollers are not recommended, however, according to the event page on Facebook.

Those who wish to attend should meet at Valley Gates parking lot, halfway along the main park road and look for the Jack O’Lantern in the area.
