Halloween is almost here and there a lot of haunted happenings scattered around the area for Jamaica Plain residents to enjoy. Some places may require a bit of a drive, but all are well worth the scare!

Ghosts and Gravestones

Barrett’s Haunted Mansion

Located in Abington, visitors can trek through a haunted maze and haunted house. Be prepared though, as a scare awaits around every corner.

The Armory of Horror

This Halloween Arts display at the Armory in Somerville will scare your pants off. Visitors can walk the haunted halls of the Maze of Horror.

The 7-1-5 Haunted House

Located in Canton, this haunted house worth the nightmares it will bring. It features over 50 live actors, over 35 life-size mannequins and animatronics. It also show off professional lighting, sound, smoke and projection effects.

2nd Annual Doggone Halloween Costume Parade

Located in Boston, this event is free for everyone and every dog to enter. Prizes will be handed out for several categories including: Cutest Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Creative Costume.
