WalkUp Roslindale describes its goal as making Roslindale "the most pedestrian-friendly neighborhood in the city of Boston."

Its proposed path would parallel the commuter rail lines through the Arnold Arboretum to Bussey Street and cross South Street to the Blackwell Path, emerging down the street from the Forest Hills stop, the Boston Home Team reported.
