JAMAICA PLAIN, MA - As the popularity of crowdfunded campaigns increases, anyone with an idea can now compete for donations.

So how can you make your creation stand out?

Fractured Atlas, a New York-based nonprofit that offers artists tools and tips to successfully run a business, will hold a workshop in Jamaica Plain on campaigning for donations.

The workshop is geared toward individual artists and art organizations. It will cover:

  • How to build your audience and prospect for individual donors
  • Determine how crowdfunding fits into your overall fundraising strategy
  • Tactics for laying the groundwork before the campaign launches
  • Tips and tools for developing an amazing campaign
  • How to build buzz, approach media, choose your platform, and develop your rewards

It will be hosted by Fractured Atlas representatives Dianne Debicella and Theresa Hubbard.
