Police Officer Hit By Car In Egleston Square During Foot Chase
Police said he was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — Early scanner reports indicate an officer was hit by a car at an intersection in Jamaica Plain. Police said the officer was chasing a suspect in the area when another car hit him on Washington Street this morning just after 10:30 a.m.
The officer was taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening, officer James Moccia,who is a spokesperson for the department, told Patch.
Police said one arrest had been made.

This isn't the first time this month an officer was struck by a vehicle. On May 6 a Police officer was hit by a vehicle in JP. Police said that officer is expected to be ok, too.
