Record Heat Across State Kicks off Memorial Day Weekend
Many of the records that fell across the state this afternoon dated back nearly 100 years. But Tropical Storm Bonnie could cool us off soon.

Some say Memorial Day kicks off the unofficial summer season, but summer doesn't seem to want to wait.
Temperatures hit record-tying heights at Boston's Logan Airport Saturday, with the National Weather Service reporting 92 degrees. That ties the record for the hottest May 28, set in 1931.
Worcester reached a new high, hitting 89 degrees just before 3 p.m. That broke the record off 88 hit twice, once in 1911 and tied in 1929.
