Summer Weather on Tap for the Weekend in Jamaica Plain

Break out the sunscreen if you haven’t already as summer weather continues for the weekend. Temps in the 80s will make you forget it’s only May so get out there and enjoy it. What a treat for mom with Mother’s Day on Sunday!

While Friday’s high will be in the low 70s, temperatures continue to go up from there with Saturday’s high expected to be 81 and then we get even warmer on Sunday with a high of 88 degrees.

Here’s a look at your weekend weather forecast:

• Friday: Mostly sunny skies with a high of 73. Friday night will have occasional clouds with a low around 50 degrees.
• Saturday: Partly cloudy skies with a high of 81 degrees. Saturday night will also be partly cloudy with a low of 61.
• Sunday: Intervals of clouds and sunshine and hot. The high Sunday is expected to reach 88 degrees. Sunday night partly cloudy skies early will give way to occasional showers later in the evening. Sunday’s low is expected to be 63 degrees.

The beginning of next week keeps the warm temperatures in the 80s on Monday with scattered thunderstorms on Tuesday before temperatures dropping to the low 70s on Wednesday.
