Thunderstorms are likely to roll through Jamaica Plain early Tuesday morning as heavy rain continues to drench the region.
Steady rain Monday afternoon will slow to a drizzle at night. Heavy rain will return after 1 a.m., with a strong chance of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.

It will likely be the first thunderstorm of spring in New England following an extremely rare “thundersnow” event in eastern Massachusetts in February.

Monday: Rain. 15 mph winds. Thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Low of 50 degrees.
Tuesday: Rain and thunderstorms before 2 p.m., with 20 mph winds. Things calm down at night. High 65, low 43.
Wednesday: Rain likely. High 63, low 40.
Thursday: Partly sunny. High 53, low 36.
