Tito Jackson Then Mayor Walsh To Speak About Mayoral Race In JP
This week both Tito Jackson and Mayor Marty Walsh will be speaking in JP, hosted by the JP Progressives group.
JAMAICA PLAIN, MA — Got a question about the direction of the Boston mayoral race? Ask candidate Tito Jackson tonight and then come back and ask Mayor Marty Walsh on the 20th.
As part its endorsement process for the 2017 mayoral race, JP Progressives is hosting the leading candidates in a series of conversations geared toward its progressive agenda.
Tonight, July 18, the JP Progressives are hosting an in-depth one-on-one conversation with Councilor Jackson at 7 p.m.

Two days later, Mayor Walsh will join JP Progressives for a similar conversation on July 20 at 7:30pm (which will be preceded by an open JPP monthly meeting at 6:30pm to get involved in neighborhood activism).
The JP Progressive group expects a strong turnout for this event to be held at the Baptist church on Centre Street.
